Thought I would share how to gain access to the inside of your headlights to be able to clean them which is something I always wanted to do but was scared. I had a light that was damaged so was a perfect test subject.

I removed all the covers etc on the back first.

I had a silicone bag in mine and was stuck to the side so when removed it it emptied some of the contents inside the light.

I wasn't keen on the putting it in the oven technique and sure the misses wouldn't have been either so grabbed her hairdryer.

All I did to break the seal was heat then pry and repeat until it was free.

Once the two main parts are detached you can then remove the black casing by taking out the screws.

Makes sure you undo all screws and bolts so don't break anything and you are then able to take all parts apart.

You can now clean it all up and put back together
