if you have replaced your key battery you will need to re pair it to the cars system. you can re pair up to three key at the same time but they must be keys for your car you CANNOT pair keys you have bought new or second hand.
- Difficulty Level:
1 Sit in the drivers seat with all doors and boots closed but unlocked.
2 turn key to position 2 so the dash lights come on then within 5 seconds press the lock button on the remote for 1 second then release the button.
3 turn the key off to pos 1 dash lights go off.
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 three more times a (total of 4 times) each step must be done within 5 seconds of the previous step
5 Upon the 4th turning of the key to the on pos press the lock button on the remote the locks will make a cycling sound (clunk) locks will not lock or unlock at this point they will just make a noise. the system is now in programming mode. do NOT turn the key off.
6 within 5 seconds of entering the programming and within 5 seconds of each other press the lock button of each remote you are programming for a second or so and release this step needs to be done within 10 seconds. each time the lock button is pressed the locks should cycle.
7 turn the ignition off and remove the key step out of the car and close the door,. the remotes should be programmed and should work. if you have boot lid / hatch release hold this button for a few seconds before the boot lid / hatch will open.
