    Hi all
i have noted that door silencer issues on the 1st Generation Civic and accord has cropped up on this forum in the past
i can help out here as i have been making replacement silencers for a while and have offered these out on other forums
it would seem rude if i didnt make the same offer here
these are made as close as possible to the now obsolete honda part and work perfectly. there are other remanufactured part out ther e but are made from a hard resin and fail on fitting or soon after ,mine are fully flexible

Hi Andrew, firstly I wouldn't advise putting your email address on forums, this opens you up to the whole world of SPAM.

In fact let me remove it from the post. Slim can you drop @Andrew484 a private message so you can exchange details such as this via PM. As a new user Andrew won't yet be able to initiate a PM.

Also Andrew please do drop by the "Introduce Yourself" section, would love to hear about your 1st Generation Civic.

No, you can get flexible filament for 3D printing, the name of it escapes me now.

    hi speedy
very interesting but how much is the material? also the cost of a 3d printer then learning how to program the damn thing:Grin:
my process is relatively simple once the mould ( or moulds for a multi production run ) are made they last forever ,its an exacted copy quick to turn out and virtually no waste as can be seen on a rather complicated wing mirror base ( 1st Generation rs Civic wing mirror ) leaving very little to trim off

Oh yes, 3D printing for sure is expensive. Also it's takes a fair while to do the design for the 3D parts.

Your process is much simpler
