Hi guys. I have just purchased a 6th Generation 2002 1.8i VTEC sport accord. Like it more than my Civic type-r if im honest. Only issue i am having, is the accelerator pedal meant to be hard on the accord? I haven't driven one before in the past, so unsure, but the accelerator/gas pedal is very hard on mine. Almost feels like my foot isn't on the pedal and im pushing on the floorpan, then it goes down, it is hard work.

Any ideas if its meant to be like that? or is something wrong?

Also started a new thread on the clutch biting point high, is that mean it needs a clutch? car is on 86k, with no receipt or record of a clutch change.

Lubricate all the moving parts of the accelerator pedal and remove and lubricate the accelerator cable ,also check for free play on the cable towards the throttle body.
