Hi. I want to buy a car similar to the one shown in the attached photo.

    I have 3 questions.

    1. Could some please confirm the title of this message does describe that model.

    2. I see some of these cars advertised in the South of Ireland, but I couldn't find any in the UK. Is this car imported specifically to Ireland and not to the UK?

    3. The price of the cars that I have seen advertised don't seem to be very expensive. Is there something negative about this model?

    Thanks

    what is it - accord.

As far as I know there is no SR spec in the 7th Generation lineup.

The 2.0 litre variants come in SE, Type-S and EX variants. Not sure if Ireland got a slightly different model range or model naming convention.

Perhaps SR in Ireland is same as SE in UK ??

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the 2.0 petrol variants no matter what they called, they are probably one of the most reliable motors money can buy. It's just that a lot of people just don't see them for what they are, until of course they have owned one.

The SE is also called the Comfort, and there's the Sport too. I haven't heard of an "SR" spec at all, though throughout Europe there is some slight variation to model names.

Ultra reliable, they're becoming cheap because of their age and that's it really.
