    4. There is a separate wash bottle reservoir by the radiator near-side headlamp. See if that has water in first.

    re switch edix import 2005 4x4 1.7
to the right of the steering wheel below electric window switches on vertical plane are 3 switch covers for extra equipment
nos 2 and 3 on my car are blank- L to R
but no1 has an illuminated-green switch with the word pole below an inverted U with a cross bar-horizontal across it which looks like an upside down A but with a rounded top
    sorry can't photo
with regard to washer on rear window took of pipe to rear jet and connected to my electric tyre pump and hey presto whatever was in there was moved out and the washer is now working
i presume the short wiper blade is due to the glass curvature!
re steering remote i think i will stick with what i have now that i am getting used to it
thanks to you all for your help and advice hopefully before long i will be able to return the favours and offer help or advice

@joseph spragg given your explanation I humbly withdraw my comment.

And yes I do make make typing errors myself too

Usually the un-punctuated posts are from people who are just being plain lazy, I see now that this is not the case here, so please accept my apologies.

If you can post a picture of your switches I can try and advise further.
