    I've been keeping an eye out for a replacement for my oil burner.
    The 'HK Force' is trying to sway me back from the 'Dark Side', but 2.4 isn't quite for me.

    Since it's an Approved Used Vehicle, thought it would be of interest to someone on here. :Smile:

    No I've not driven a K24.
    My old 4th & 5th gens were 2.0 petrol and I loved them.
    Switched to diesel 10 years ago for the economy.

    I am really afraid of driving a K24, to be perfectly honest.
    I know that if I do, I'll want to buy one and that wouldn't fit in with current plans :Sobbing:

    You'd fall in love with them, nothing like a high revving responsive K-Series engine. If you got an LPG job on it you'd have better economy than diesel still :Whistle: @SpeedyGee would get you sorted no doubt.

    @SpeedyGee anyone attempted a 8th Generation 2.0 or 2.4 LPG conversion yet without any issues. I am not on the market but a few are chomping my bits for info. They will travel to you as they have seen your work all cash these guys won't mess they want the BEST option.

    I've personally not seen any 8th gens on petrol, although I have come across a couple of examples on the internet (albeit of the usual unimpressive quality).

    Here's one for example


    Ignoring the exceedingly poor quality of install ... it is an indication that 8th Generation Accords have been converted. Assuming that Honda have not changed the valve seat material to anything cheaper or softer than that found in the 7th Generation, then they should run and last equally as well on the the 7th Generation LPG conversions.

    If we can find out about the valve seats that would be really handy.

    Came across this CR-V this morning, contrary to what it claims I've actually seen quite a few 4th Generation LPG'd CR-Vs on sale

    Used Honda CR-V 4x4 2.0 I-vtec Ex 5dr in Ormskirk, Lancashire | Shaw Motors

    They've put up a gazillion pictures of it up but none of under the hood, damn !

    I have seen plenty of late gen Civics (R18 engine) LPG'd so it seems the latest gen Hondas continue to be good LPG candidates.
