Why are you selling it after only a few months?

My missus is getting driving licence and our Civic is way too big for her. So we decided to sell CR-V, get something VERY small for her and I will be using Civic...

    No interest whatsoever...
Am I asking too much for it?
I could do a part ex for the right motor; something small, 5 door for my wife...

I think the mileage will put most people off, we're all aware that Hondas will generally live on happily into heavy 6 figures, but it is an awful lot still for a 5 year old with 182,000 miles.

Who knows? At that mileage, cars are hard to value. You're reliant on finding a buyer who is happy to be "mileage blind" and trust their own assessment of the cars condition.

Does the car really have a full Honda service history? That's an awful lot of dealer stamps. Perhaps you could give potential buyers some more reassurance by stating exactly when it was last serviced and listing any major consumables that have recently been replaced e.g. is it still on its original clutch? what about suspension components?

What would a normal 60-reg ES diesel with say 60k miles sell for? Maybe £9.5-10k?

I think you're going to have to take some brave pills, advertise it on eBay and let the market determine its worth.

I think you are asking too much, a quick autotrader search brings up cars newer than yours, admittedly only a year or so, with a bit over 100k on the clock, for the same price. Might just need to test the market a little bit as mentioned above.

    Good luck.

Here's some more photos, serviced every 12.500 miles by Honda.
I don't know about clutch, suspension etc. It does not say in the service book. Clutch does not slip, there is no single noise from suspension or any component whatsoever.
Recently replaced battery, all tyres and rear ARB bushes. New fuel filter (Genuine Honda).
As I cannot find any CR-V at similar age combined with mileage-I'm open to offers.
If I cannot sell it, then it probably will stay with our family and Civic will have to go...

Do you know where I can get parts for the CR-V used and new, I don't want parts from the us. I like the style of bumpers you have on your car, also I want mine manual, so I'm shopping for the whole conversion if you know a junk yard in your area you can get me a number or a email. I would appreciate it, thanks for your time.

There's breakers all over the UK, you're best finding them on our eBay. As for new parts, you can find prices/part numbers on Lings and then give @Holdcroft Honda a call

    Sorry for my absence.
We decided to keep the CR-V and sold the Civic instead. It's a great car and will probably stay with us till it dies...
    Thanks for your interest!
