    Following a number of instances where the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) warning light has been activated due to small build up of Particulate Matter in the exhaust system on CR-V 2.2 Diesel models( see latest TSB posted today)

    A factory update to the ECU software has been applied at production to resolve this.

    All 2.2 Diesel Manual & Automatic models built from Mid-February (from VIN SHSRE6790EU006831) will have this update installed and as a secondary benefit enjoy improved CO2 emissions figures.
    New emissions.

    Please note all older CR-V cannot be upgraded to this latest code to retrospectively get the emission dropped. IT can't be done.
