I've got the 6-CD changer in my car (got 6 CD's loaded) and finding an issue where it sometimes won't go on to the next CD, just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if there's an easy fix for it?

    Are you using copy discs?

I've not had an issue. I only use copy discs in the car.
Before I installed my XcarLink, I kept 30+ discs in the armrest. Having copies meant my originals were safe at home.
    Are they decent quality CDs?

Have you tried ejecting all the discs and reloading them ?

This may help if one of them failed to seat properly back in its resting place.

Did think about doing that as I've got some of that at work, was a bit wary of doing it just in case it ended up moving some crap etc. into areas it or not to be!LOL

I had the same thought reading above, but then again - I clean tons of mechanical gear with compressed air and haven't had an issue yet (touch wood).

Might just give it a go, in the hope that what ever dust etc. is in there works it's way out, reason I'm cautious is that I've done this before on old floppy drives, in some of our Electronic equipment and ended up having to rip the drive out and apart as the crap has got trapped elsewhere and made the drive worse!! sods law it'll happen on the CD !LOL

I wouldn't worry too much as a worst case, I've had numerous drives (including the 7th Generation Sat Nav) apart and together in the past with no issues
