    Hi all,
Well had the accord for two weeks and love it but time to tinker

I've bought a parrot mki9100 hands free kit, xcarlink kit to show video on sat nav screen, numberplate reverse camera and while I'm at it I'll be doing away with the in my opinion horrible work top effect blue marble interior trim for some carbon fibre wrap... Oh , also removing the rear badges apart from the honda one as I think it looks alot cleaner ..

Add your car to the Club Garage, Gary. You can then use that as your Project Log

Nice little collection of mods there Gary, look forward to reading more about them. As @SpeedyGee says, pop your car in the club garage to start off a proper log for the girl

I like the marble blue effect LOL but thats just me, each to their own I guess. Be nice to see some pictures when its done as I imagine the carbon fibre effect would look good to.
All good mods these. especially like the reversing camera, something I want to fit but two young kids means I have no time any more. sob sob.
Good luck hope it goes well.

Thank @DeviateDefiant, the CCD title made me miss this one as I was looking for a CMOS one.

Yeah, CMOS are better in my opinion for small little imaging devices - hence the initial recommendation, but they can be harder to come by with the numberplate fitment for the Accord.

Well, fitted the wiring for the Bluetooth and external TV display.. Panicked after then having no screen or sounds but seems because of all the extra wiring needs routing clearer as not much space there and pushing the original wiring out! So that's a job that can wait until next weekend...Although been busy getting creative and losing the blue worktop effect trim with some carbon wrap... Think it looks pretty good but let you all decide.. uploadfromtaptalk1422806383620.

Well, finally fitted the Bluetooth, camera and video sender, was a pain fitting it all in, mainly due to the extra wiring for the hands free so unfortunately didn't take many pics although anyone buying the video unit it fits with mm to spare ontop of the dvd navigation... pics of the carbon fibre wrap before and after...

How did you find the mounting of the rear view camera?

It was a bit fiddly, the camera fitted straight in but the plastic trim around the no. Plate lights needed a little work with the dremel to fit properly, wasn't hard although need to feed the phono cable to the video box at the front but was getting dark so that's a job for next weekend..
