That's what you can get on the 7th Generation after 200 miles with AC on Leeds to the big smoke (Accord - )

The best I have got is 47.3 MPG after 234 Miles.

I am already quite happy with the fuel consumption coming from a 6 cyl BMW
I hope the oil consumption is as little as well as my bimmer needed 1 liter every 2k km

Yes of course after a BMW will better consumption. Look on my seconda car Civic 4 doors FD2 1.6 i-VTEC I just change the oil after 10000km and its like the same color and quantity. 0/20 honda oil original oil filter

Oh man, not a single drop oil consumption. I use Honda original 0W20 from start (factory fill). Change oil and filter according to Service Reminder System. For me that means an oil change every 14k to 16k km (that's twice a year). Now at 165.000 km and still going strong as if it was day one for this sublime car.

I do a commute of about 25 miles each way, daily, a mix of town driving, A roads, dual carriagway and country roads. I have a heavy right foot, 2nd and 3rd gear overtaking, "brisk" acceleration and 80 ish mph and I average about 35 MPG. A few weeks ago I went to Devon for a week and averaged 41 MPG.
