Been collecting a few bits and pieces for my Tourer including these RX8 wheels I picked ages ago via eBay for £60. Needless to say that they weren't suitable for fitting and needed new tyres and powder coating before fitting which cost another £276 including having all of my towbar parts doing gloss black again.

I've got a week off work soon when I'll be fitting it all on the car including my parrot asteroid smart head unit.

Got some spigot rings and new nuts ready as Mazda use a different profile to Honda. May switch to metal rings if these are no good.

Towbar all refitted following a trip to the powder coaters.

Had a total nightmare with the electrics even though I refitted them exactly as the were before. Needless to say that the towbar is not genuine :Frown:

Did some basic rust treatment whilst I was working under the bumper but can see a proper bit of under seal is required around before much longer.

New genuine clutch courtesy of Vertu Honda here in Nottingham for £650 including drop off and pick up with valet.

Informed flywheel ok and gearbox alignment ok (eh?) so happy. Clutch take up a bit like a light switch at mo.

On the health check they noted low oil level but did not top it up. Whilst I didn't pay for a service I'm a bit surprised how tight they were and would have hoped for 500ml of oil popping in :Frown:

Holdcroft can't supply the em2 master cylinder until mid September when I'll be in southern Brittany so no good to me when I wanted to fit it next week :Frown:

Went to call H Tune instead but couldn't find any numbers on their website so have emailed them instead.

Apparently no crunch or creak with this type but also better for high power motors / clutch combo due to lack of softening plate

No not at all mate, the pressure plate has a rut on it are they sure that was not on the flywheel ? if it has then your new clutch will start to judder in first gear , from what i can see there are loads and loads of heat spots.
