The other day I noticed a kinda of hissing sound when I press the brake pedal, brakes seem fine but wonder if this sound is normal. I only noticed it as was driving with no radio on and usually the music will block the sound out.

As long as the brakes are firm to the bite the noise is normal. When I had my VSA unit replaced a small amount of air was left in the system. The pedal feel as spongy and a quick bleed soon sorted it. You can definietly tell the difference.
