    Hi,
My name is Paul, I own a 2004 Accord diesel tourer which I have had since last May.
I bought it with 122,000 on the clock and its now on 145,000
    I have had the EGR blanked & a 185 HP re-map
also replaced front lower arms & all drop links
I enjoy fettling and will try to tackle most things except anything electrical, That's black magic to me!

    Hi everybody,
A short intro from me about my car

Its a 2004 Accord diesel estate in metallic dark red with a pale leather interior. I purchased it about 18 months ago with 129,000 miles on the clock and its now showing 156,000.
I have not had any real problems just preventative maintenance. Replaced all drop links, front control arms, cleaned out intake manifold & had a 185 BHP tune which pepped it up a bit but does cause the clutch to slip, although this hasn't got any worse(yet). I do most of the spannering myself, never touch electrics (Black magic!)
I find it a nice car to drive, spacious , quiet and frugal (average 45 MPG mixed driving)

I really enjoy lurking on the forum, its nice to read real advice from people who seem to know what they are talking about and give this advice freely.

    Cheers

@edgarsdad you've already got this intro thread, so I'm merging the other one to it.
