Off-Topic Any Spanish speakers on AOC

    Chaps I have set a personal challenge to learn and speak Spanish to an acceptable level in a year.I may have the oppunity to work in Spain on and off .. NO I am leaving the UK nor am I shutting down AOC..

    All I want to know what is the best way to learn Spanish and is my target not achievable? I would like to learn on my own so what is the best way to do it. free lessons are always welcomed.:Smile:

    JC, Years ago I had a PC program that was designed for those who wished to learn the Spanish language, it was a bit too in depth for what I wanted but it was very good for teaching the pronunciation of words. Perhaps such programs are still available. Alternatively, does your local council run free evening classes?

    Rosetta stone is one such one software which makes training via cd's , but £300 odd is a lot..may have to bite the bullet and get it or are there any cheaper options
