Electrical & Lights Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror

    Has anyone fitted an auto dimming rear view mirror? Had these on previous cars and do miss them, very useful things.

    well i was reading one of the other posts and someone said that it probably won't work well if you have rear tints which i have so probably no point doing that... however auto dimming wing mirrors might be more useful...

    Total BS it will work on privacy glass can't say about film tinting.

    not sure what i've got on the rear, it looks like film as there is a clear line where its been not put on properly along one of the heater strips. whats the difference between both?

    it depends how dark your tints are have a look at a car with normal privacy glasses and then compare?

    Thinking about trying this on my FR-V, never had an auto dim but I love gadgets! I find the privacy glass helps a lot with rear glare alone.
