    Can anyone confirm the
    'Standard' &
    'Max Refinishing Limit'
thicknesses for the front and rear discs on a 7th Generation pre-facelift 2.2i CTDI Accord?

    Cheers, :Unknown:

    Here you go

I have included everything you need :Niceone:

    Front Brake pad thickness:
    Standard: 10.5−11.5 mm (0.41−0.45 in.)
Service limit: 1.6 mm (0.06 in.)

    Rear Brake pad thickness:
    Standard: 8.9−9.1 mm (0.350−0.358 in.)
Service limit: 1.5 mm (0.06 in.)

    Runout check
    Brake disc runout:
Service limit: 0.10 mm (0.004 in.)
When measuring the brake disc runout, turn the other side of brake disc slowly by hand. If the brake disc is beyond the service limit, refinish the brake disc with an on-car brake lathe.

    Max. refinish limit:
Except KQ model: 23.0 mm (0.91 in.)
KQ model: 26.0 mm (1.02 in.)

    NOTE:
If the brake disc is beyond the service limit for refinishing, replace it.
A new disc should be refinished if its runout is greater than 0.10 mm (0.004 in.).

    Thickness and Parallelism

Using a micrometer, measure the brake disc thickness at eight points, about 45 ° apart and 10 mm (0.39 in.) in from the outer edge of the brake disc. Replace the brake disc if the smallest measurement is less than the max. refinishing limit.
    Brake disc thickness:
    Standard:

Except KQ model: 24.9−25.1 mm (0.98−0.99 in.)
KQ model: 27.9−28.1 mm (1.10−1.11 in.)

    Max. refinishing limit:
Except KQ model: 23.0 mm (0.91 in.)
KQ model: 26.0 mm (1.02 in.)

Brake disc parallelism: 0.015 mm (0.0006 in.) max.

NOTE: This is the maximum allowable difference between the thickness measurements.

Top tip what is KQ Model? http://hondakarma.com/threads/model-area-code-listing.5301/

    Thanks CJ.

The data should help others too.

My old 5th Generation workshop manual helps with some of the diagrams but all the specs are different.
I think a call to HH is on the cards.

I bought the workshop manual (2 x A4 ring binders) in 1995ish, when I bought the 5th Generation from the local Honda dealer.

Don't think AOC was around then.

If you don't have access to the 5th Generation workshop manual, I'm happy to look things up.
But then again, you've probably already got it covered
