I have tried to find using search but either nobody has ever adjusted or their is no adjustment hence never been asked this question.

My Accord 2.4 Ex Saloon 2003 brakes are making noise when idling in gear unless brake pedal is pressed full rather than just half pressed. In my previous Honda's their were adjustments and were even recommended in Genuine Workshop Manual to adjust the height of brake pedal to certain level.

Any help will be appreciated and if can have the diagram or at least to what height to adjust will be great help.

Yes brake sequel. And in Honda shuttle 99 shuttle 95 accord 99 i think had. According to Honda workshop model for shuttle 95 to 99 brake pedal height needs to be 73mm from wall or floor if i render correctly

For brake sequel you need to have you're brakes serviced.

Had new discs and pads fitted few months ago with ceramic grease and proper serviced in front of me so i know exactly what's happening. Its not sequel as in dry or no grease brake pad noise. Its when your pad are not biting fully because brake pedal is not fully pressed.

I am 99% sure its to do with pedal height adjustment. Once the play or gap is reduced between the Brake pedal the spindle which pushes the piston in master cylinder then I won't have this issue. I have done that to my 99 Odyssey (shuttle) 95 Odyssey (shuttle) and CR-V 2003 model. Will attempt tomorrow and take the pictures to explain.

I'm not sure, never had to adjust one on an Accord.

So why do you think that yours suddenly needs this adjustment doing ?

Maybe i am not explaining so let's give it another go

When stop at traffic light or stuck in traffic which happens quite often in London, i notice in gear while brake is pressed, engine with gear pushing the car forward while brake is trying to stop, which makes noise but once i press the brake pedal fully that noise Is gone. So as my per past experience where i had adjusted same shaft to lift the pedal only 1 or 2 mm and had my problem solved. No more noise and brake feel more solid. On those occasions i had that particular model genuine workshop manual to guide me. But this accord i haven't manage to obtain manual hence the reason i asked my fellow experienced accord user to shed some light on this matter
