Despite the fact I am getting rid of the car soon, no expense is spared for whomever is the eventual owner.

    New pads all round today.

    Car is filthy, needs detailing....

Have you sold it, or are you trading it in TDK?

On a lighter note I see you met Prince William yesterday at Warner Bros new studio tour....

    Yes its being p-ex'd.

(Not a Royalist so will keep my thoughts in my brain than let rip here!)

I was hoping to avoid this expense, but to be fair the pads were pretty much done for and needed changing, if only from a safety perspective given that I have to ferry the kids about during the weekend(s) etc.

On note of brake pads good to see you doing the right thing before you hand the car over to the new owners.Have to appreciate your sincerity in doing the right thing, rather let it go into disrepair as it being part ex'd ..FIX the car.:Friends:

Majority of people won't spend a penny on their car when a new one is on the horizon .

As a side note, does the 8th Generation have a low brake pad warning come up on the dash at all??

Just don't use them again mate look at the near side calliper how its stretching the calliper hose. The caliper lying in the state for half and hour will damage the pipe . Let this be a reminder for. All DIYers when you remove the calliper make sure it held near to its original location otherwise you will experience a seizing calliper.

Trust me, it wasnt dangling for more than a few mins. I was there throughout the brake change and trust this outlet with my life. Static photos never tell the true story

Definitely bro, I most certainly am

At least the (eventual) new owner of the car won't have to worry about the pads - they'll be fine for a good few years.
