what did you use to reseal?
Have a look at the links
@StuH it seems the butyl tape is the best option
Proper way to re-seal headlights don't USE SILICONE
Resealing headlight housing after opening it!!!
mate just repost that response for some reason it entered it twice.
I very much liked your post as it relates to my story, I have condensation in my accord both headlights, which i am mustering up my courage to remove both and complete the procedure what you did and then seal them back with flexible, silicone.
I have a huge challenge to reseal them perfect so condensation don't come back ever. I saw u had a silica bag in your headlights which indicates that you had same condensation issue. Could you please advise if after your procedure condensation was eradicated?
The silicone bags help to reduce the condensation and I am yet to do the full procedure on my actual headlights on my car as this one I had was a broken one that I used as a test subject but am now confident is simple enough to do but just need to make sure they are sealed well when put them back together and have read butyl tape is better than silicone.
