General Busy day

    Busy day today got up at 10! and got into the swing of things

    First Gen Accord
    • Change engine oil and oil filter.
    • Reset valve clearance on first gen
    • Reset carbs, check spark plugs for state of tune then set timing
    • Fix the oil leak on the rocker.
    • Prep and store car away for Winter
    Side Tracked
    • Do service on neighbour Nissan Pixo a glorified Suzuki!! Small and horrid!! Enough said
    Honda Lawn and Garden and Energy
    • Drain fuel on Hedge trimmer, grass strimmer ,lawnmower, generator , leaf blower
    • Clean and lube the air filters on all above
    • Change the oil on all above.
    • Wash wax and lube the above and dry store for winter in a dehumidified room.
    Mordern cars
    • Pump up tyres on milk float , 7th Generation 8th Generation
    • A full VHC on all these car topped fluid and full head to tail inspection
    Motorcycles
    Put all me bike to sleep for winter, total strip and clean and store.,

    At 19:00 today cleaned up tools tidy up garage.
    Have a shower
    Have a few well earned drinks !! Hic
    Now on the forum.

    Tomorrow

    8th Generation front and back brake pad change they are low!! caught them in time!
    8th Generation oil and oil filter change.
    8th Generation total wash and detail.
    7th Generation total wash and detail.

    That is all.

    That is one busy day and alot seems to have been accomplished, well done, you deserve that drink :Smile:

    Bring it up yeah I will do it! Thanks bud these jobs have been plying up on me and I just blitz'd taking all the care to do it right... Damn my wallet is lighter spent some ££ on consumables

    Haha cheers CJ, though at this rate (forcast rain here tomorrow when I last looked) it would be dirty again before it got back from Leeds. Though I will no doubt take you up on that offer, you can give me some tips on the details for sure, that and funds dictate I can't at the moment either.
    You might as well get it all done and put away properly, stored ready for winter, if stuff isnt gonna get used. Especially that lovely generator of yours. Really could do with repainting the bottom of my generator frame though, its rusting good.
    I bet you spent a good wad on consumable stuff. I remember reading a long time ago that an owner(s) of a car will spend almost the same value as the car on parts and labour over the lifetime of the car (unless it was a BMW,VAG, Porsche etc product, in which case alot more)
