@Members - here we are at the end of February already. Christmas is a distant memory, and the daffodils show that Spring is on the way - and with it hopefully better weather to get those Hondas nice and shiny for the Summer! Next month we're going to have a special vote - 'Second Chance March' - for great cars that failed to win in previous COTM votes. Before we get to that, we have another fantastic crop of nominees for February... ...starting with: @Racy Jace with his 4th Generation CR-V. This hasn't been owned for very long, and was the replacement for a much loved 8th Generation Accord. We've been impressed with the amount of effort that has already gone into making this one special CR-V, and with the regular updates to the project log which will undoubtably help other CR-V owners complete similar modifications. A very well deserved nomination. http://hondakarma.com/garage/CR-V-ex-2-0-auto-with-creme-leather.997/ Next, comes @Heckler with his 7th Generation Accord Tourer. This vehicle has been nominated because it is a good example of an older Honda, still being used every day, which with care and regular maintenance can continue to give fantastic service. @Heckler has been active on the forum, sharing his lessons learned and advice where he has come up against a problem. Another car and member deserving of nomination and appreciation. http://hondakarma.com/garage/the-parent-trap.793/ Third, a somewhat rarer Honda model from yesteryear - the gone but not forgotten Logo, owned by @Sprockutt. This is an example of a member gradually improving their car - whilst continuing to use it regularly - and then sharing the results to help other owners and members. Have a good look at the garage entry and project log for this beauty and you can't fail to be impressed by the effort that has gone into it, and the improvement made to it - which makes it well worthy of nomination for COTM, in fact. http://hondakarma.com/garage/logo.377/ Next, @Bones126 with his FR-V. FR-V's have become increasingly popular on HondaKarma over the past 12 months or so, with lots of new members signing up to show their car off, and wonder why Honda don't still make an MPV. This particular one caught our eye because of the detail in the project log, and the steps being taken to make sure it continues to give many more years of faithful service, as well as the plans for modification. A great car, and a great garage entry. This month really is going to be a difficult choice... http://hondakarma.com/garage/06-FR-V-2-2-i-ctdi.146/ Last but not least, is @RJF with the second 7th Generation Accord Tourer to be nominated this month. Just take a look at this car and the garage entry and you'll see why it has been nominated. Lots of subtle but effective modifications have been made - with more to come we'll wager - on a car which is not only a daily driver but is also used for what it was designed i.e. transporting 'stuff.' It's a fantastic car, and a more than suitable nomination to close this month's vote with. http://hondakarma.com/garage/type-s-taxi.984/ Congratulations to all the nominees for this month, and The vote will be open for two weeks, closing on Saturday 12th March. It is another very difficult choice this month, so get looking through those garage entries and vote now. As they say, 'the choice, is yours...'
