As I will be picking up my new CR-V on Friday morning, I've been clearing out my Accord in preparation.

    So far, I've:

    - Emptied the CD changer
    - Checked and removed items from the glovebox, front armrest, coin tray and centre console cupholder.
    - Deleted my 'phonebooks from the HFT system.
    - Deleted previous destinations and "home" from the sat nav (not sure this is really necessary, but still...)
    - Removed all items from the boot, and checked in the spare wheel well to make sure I hadn't stored anything there (I hadn't).
    - Removed my hanging Watford football kit from the rear window. I'll leave the HondaKarma stickers for the next owner, maybe they'll show up on here

    Anything obvious that I've missed?

As you arent a student, Id say thats probably about right. Probably need to do a fair bit of searching down the back of seats and other areas if you were.

Exactly, I can't think of anything else that students use their back seats for :Unknown:

^^ I can think of a few things .

When I was a student I started with an (original) Mini, but soon traded up for a Montego saloon. Roomy...

I remember helping a friend out buying a car a good few years ago - a Seat Cupra R. Sales rep opened the boot and I took one look inside of it and said to my friend "Wow, you could fit two bodies in this one". The look the sales rep gave me was priceless

Assuming the 8th Generation has one (?), check the sunglass holder!

Put all the manuals etc back in the car for the next owner?

^^ Now that's why I asked...my portable torch is in there! Thanks @Zebster

^^I always leave the pack in the glovebox. The dealer already has the V5 etc to sort my personal numberplate.

    A few things

Locking wheel nut key for the alloy wheels.
Reclaim the tax on VED if any from VOSA.
Cancel your car insurance on that car the day its handed over and moved to the new car that day.
    rest is covered I think.

EDIT spare key don't forget that.

Will check the locking wheel nut is there, good point. It should be...

Insurance I had to sort so that the dealer could tax the car ahead of collection, so that is done. I'm told that the remaining road tax comes back to me automatically, but will ask to make sure I understand what the process is and whether I need to do anything.

    MOT certificate.
I presume your trading her in with the Star alloys and keeping/selling the Sigmas

    Edit: Both Satnav Discs?

^^Dealer also has the MOT already - think that is also needed to sort the personal plate transfer.

Yes, the Sigmas are spoken for - another HK member has already snapped them up...

The locking wheel nut is in situ in the boot too, just checked :cockywhistle:

I can't use Sigma alloys on my CU1.
    They aren't TPMS compliant. :Sobbing:

I found £4.50 under my driver's seat when I cleaned out the car last weekend.
