    Hi all. .
Going to put my led sidelights in tomorrow.
was hoping someone could tell me how awkward it will be. .
Is the light unit easy enough to take out or is it going to need the full bumper off etc.

    Cheers.
    Chris.

Your handbook should details changing the sidelight bulbs, they normally are pretty easy. Remove a couple of clips from the wheel arch trim, thread your arm through, unscrew the bulb holder, replace the bulb and refit.

It is identical for the Civic and the Accord - this may give you an idea of what I mean (its on the Accord, but I really can't see a huge difference if any in practice between the two)

    Changing Side Light Bulbs

    Its really easy to do

that is brilliant ,, thank you..
i tried a bit of a search but trying to find anything related to FR-V has been a nightmare ... never thought of searching other models that could be the same.

This is one of the things I plan to do but haven't done so yet, so I can't advice on the FR-V but on other models, if you can't get to the side light bulb from inside the engine, then simply removing a couple of clips from the wing liner can give enough access to get your hand behind the wing and change the bulb from there. I would imagine this would work for the FR-V sidelights too.

Did you go through the wing to change the sidelight bulb ?

Glad the guide helped mate - I would have gone for something a bit stronger personally, but good job mate, they really do make a difference to cars

they are a lot brighter than appear in photo.

would have been happier if my dipped/high beam ones had worked as well.
