Many thanks, that's great as I will probably px my Accord for a 15MY Civic 1.8 I-VTEC SR this coming Thursday & will be able to post details if deal goes through.
Civic with its brilliant Magic Seats is more suitable than Accord as transport for our two Golden Retrievers which up until now usually go in wife's CR-V. With Civic they will have even more room than in CR-V as dogs always travel in cabin with one on floor behind passengers seat & other on back seat, in Civic they can both lay side by side with Magic Seat up.

Thanks, I had long test drive in both a Civic Sport & a Lexus IS 300H & Civic suspension was smoother riding & quieter than both Lexus & Accord over traffic calming humps made from blocks. However, Civic not quite as quiet as Accord on Motorway but I rarely drive on Motorways. Speakers in Civic sounded high fidelity, extremely clear sound, very impressed.

^^ Did you do the deal @tomwillie ?

@exec posted this review of the Civic from Autocar the other day - it really shows what an under rated car it is (when reviewed without German made sunglasses on )

Accord px for very low mileage 8 month old Civic SR 1.8 I-VTEC see my post in 8th Generation Accord re "Anyone fancy pre face lift 2.4"
I'll put in garage & do review in next couple of weeks, but am impressed with latest 15MY Civic.
