VOSA have offered a free online enquiry tool allows anyone to look up the MOT history of a vehicle against the DVLA database.

It does help to remind people about it though, I'd forgotten all about it so this was a reminder and I went and checked my Accord.

First MOT was Jan 2008, and it and the following 5 MOT's up to the end of 2013 all passed first time and the only advisory was tyre wear.

It failed in 2013 on an exhaust rubber that wasn't supporting the rear exhaust properly.
It failed in 2014 on a rear number plate bulb blown.

I've also been able to match mileage from 2011 to what's recorded in the logbook.

The only thing it doesn't show that I wish it would, is the MOT test station... All the servicing was done by Fleet Honda as was the previous MOT. It would be nice to know if it was always done by them.

    That's useful.

Just checked my first Accord CL7 she's on 115,000 miles now but failed last MOT because number plate lights weren't working and parking brake efficiency too low. Passed on retest though.

Nice find @Ichiban :Niceone: , the advisory on mine back in 2014 may answer a question I thought may be a wheel bearing, could be "Nearside Rear Anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in a ball joint"

Was playing about with this a few weeks ago and spotted a car on a forum with visible reg where the owner said he'd done I think about 25k miles over the last three years yet his MOT history showed only 800 miles increase! Tick Tock lol

This is the beta version too, for whatever reason they removed the mileage from 2006 which is annoying.

Anyway that Accord Type-R that I wanted to buy 2 months bacl turned out I got lucky missing out on it, that car had rust and corroded subframe and chassis bits, I took the liberty of checking the history of other ATR's and nearly all of them have rust and corrosion underneath :Messed: i've contemplated building something with my 6th Generation instead since the chassis is clean.
