    As per heading,

chirping sound goes away if I apply even slight bit of pressure on the clutch.

Just wandering if it is a problem and if anyone had similar experience??

If it not you CMC which needs greasing then it most likely your clutch release bearing which is going dry.

Hi, it's still there, have just lived with it, might take a look at it in the Summer (if the clutch doesn't pack up by then) but also getting to a point now where the odds are stacking against me.

The infamous tailgate issues are rearing its ugly head, my driver side heated seat has packed up, rust developing on the rear arches, vibration at idle and knocking coming from pretty much all four corners of my suspension.

So an internal debate is pulling me towards just "driving this car in to the ground". It's been my 3rd Accord (G-reg, W-reg and 53) loved all of them, but family are pressing me to buy something with a bit more "va-va voom" next time. Unfortunately for them these Hondas do take their time to expire, so it won't be anytime soon.
