Hey guys, thought I'd share my first Civic with you all. I owned it around 3 years ago. It was my first Civic and I have to say I loved every minute of it. It started out as a standard 1.5 and ended up running on LPG (as have all but one of my previous cars) I'm sure you'll pick up that I'm a big fan of LPG along the way
How I came to own this car is a miracle in itself but that's another story

This was how I collected it.

    Another pic from the back.

    Snowy days :Frown:

I gave it a pretty basic sound upgrade. Amp, subwoofer and 6 x 9 speakers

    IMAG0131.

Changed out the backbox to match the intake and create more noiseee because it was cool to do so back then

    IMAG0133.

This was post- LPG conversion. It had a CAI, 4-2-1 manifold, upgraded spark leads, earthing kit, flashlube kit (which you can see hiding next to the battery)

    IMAG0194.

Although a crap pic, the filler was hidden behind a hinged number plate and was secured with a lock and key

    IMAG0186.

Clearly needed a clean lol.. this is the filler hidden behind the number plate. I stuck some rubber padding around the top to create a snug fit for the latch.

    IMAG0124.

I wrapped the roof in black  and added wind deflectors. these improved the look of the car alot IMO.

    IMAG0185.

    IMAG0174.

The interior was given a quick injection of color using faux leather.

    IMAG0125.

The Momo steering wheel made the car feel like a go kart. The handling was epic!

    CUA editt.

Just a fancy shot of the bay

    inkm.

Smoothed bootlid (for even more horsepowers  haha)

    bodu.

This was how she stood just before I sold it.

I'm sure I have some other pictures of it but I'l have to hunt them out in due course.

Absolutely love the hidden filler cap, brilliant little touch. I haven't been in an EK for years, but I can remember them clinging to corners and holding the road amazingly well. I'm tempted to go the LPG route one day, but I want to get my performance mods sorted first.

No :telloff:You don't get away with saying that and not telling the story, you've peaked my curiosity

Trip down memory lane that @tee. That engine bay always looked messy and I never like that stupid spider earthing kit, other than that it was fine car, served you well.

It was a nice learning platform for you too, especially on the LPG front.

    Yep, all moi's idea

Yeah I remember it being quite nippy, back in those days I use to live in Worcester, when Tee use to come down I'd often just take his EK for a random cruise.

    LOL

Lol yeah we never did find to what effect that earthing kit was put on.

LOL funny you should say that. It's exactly what I told him when he asked for a lift because he was stranded haha!
