I have some news about the car.. I didn't mention above, but it is in a garage (for 4 weeks tomorrow :Frown: ) because I had a small accident. The car wasn't badly damadged, after an allignment I could still drive around. But I knew that there were broken parts, and I really wanted to have the car working 100% good mechanically. I put it in this garage, and one of the parts (front subframe) didn't arrive. There were some problems with the shipping (lack of communication with the seller, exchange of delivety company mid-process, and other stuff they fed me)
I missed a trackday (would be my first trackday, if I had attended) because of this, got me really upset...
Well, the news are: I'm getting the car back either tomorrow or Sunday  It still has the slightly-broken subframe, but at least I'll have it back. And when a good condition subframe is sourced, the mechanic is gonna install it free of charge (he will take responsibility for it being missing).

Here's a video of how I damaged the car:

That was edited when the car was in the garage for like 2 days, and I was all positive about it, thinking I would have it back the next weekend. Which didn't happen :Frown: Anyway, that's why the video is all happy and random. It's not that I don't care, I do. It makes me sad that I have to spend money in repairs when I could be spending them in upgrades (for example), and makes me sad that I'm "hurting" the car. But Coco's going to be alright soon
(Also, I have new front tyres. The understeer in the video was caused by the driver, of course, but if I had better tyres maybe it would've gone differently)

    Cheers✌

    black wheels are back
    Spoon air filter
new tail lights (before and after comparison, last pic)

To-do list (doesn't look like a list, though xD )
Now I'm going to focus on body aspects, like new boot lid (tailgate?), front fenders, new bonnet (or maybe I'll get this one repaired) and rear bumper. And later I'll get it painted.
It will also need new brakes, something is making a noise (it's not that simple, but I do need new brakes)... I'll just upgrade to EG6 brakes all together
    Rear shock absorbers
Piston rings... I'll need new piston rings, my exhaust pipe looks like Snoop Dogg ... so much smoke coming from there, when I rev high :/

These are the things my car needs... Then there's stuff I don't need, but want

Have you done leak down test to prove it is piston rings causing the smoke ? Could be leaking valve stem seals.

I did not, but the whole engine head was "renewed" ... seals, guides (?) and other parts were replaced before swapping the head. I don't know the whole thing, but I got a kit (I don't know how it's called in english, nor in technical portuguese... The mechanic called it "de-carbonization kit" in portuguese, I don't know if that's the technical name for it) that should've solved problems regarding valves, ECT
So I'm guessing the problem is in the engine block.

I really need to update this...

So, I really like purple, electronic music and stuff... But don't want to look like a ricer. So in holiday season I thought it would be okay to have some purple lighting on the car xD
The first few pictures are of those said lights, and some meets on the holidays

During this season I did some backroad rides, as you can see on this video

The Mitsubishi in the pictures and video is really nice, and has some quality parts!
    -----
Then I ditched the LEDs and got "serious" again. Changed the front brake pads, as they were really really bad. Also bleeded the brake fluid, and had new fluid on, because the previous was completely black.
    (Pictures below..)
    -----

And stay tuned, because last weekend I got the LCAs on place, rear shocks, rear trailing arms with disc brakes, new fender and a front lip
I'll post pictures tomorrow or something

Ok, I'll try to make a recap of the last 10 months, regarding my car and refering to all the mods and other minor changes.

Sooo it was January, the beginning of the year, and the car had some fresh mods and was looking """good""":

    DSC_0290.JPG DSC_0294.JPG DSC_0432.JPG DSC_0434.JPG
    12767575_10153956438954931_924880883_n. DSC_0374.JPG DSC_0439.JPG 12767354_10153956438904931_869580097_n.

The car had just came out of the shop by that time, and the mods installed were:
    Aesthetic:
-front bumperlip (EK9 replica, made for EG, kinda sketchy but looked good)
-Jap sized front numberplate (@SpeedyGee it is not legal, though. Hence the million questions I asked you)
    >>Rear suspension/brake re-do:
    -KYB Excel-G shocks
-disc brake conversion with new pads (and yes, the brake calipers were painted green, which I deeply regret :toothy: )
-D2 racing LCAs, which are lighter, and have stiffer bushings. And are purple
    -Rear 13mm anti-roll bar

A couple days later I went extra flashy and got some purple lug nuts :Blushing:
    DSC_0430.JPG jPQZ-9AD. DSC_0427.JPG

Okay so the car was way too colourful, but fear not, I soon had enough of all that and made it simpler. Still has some purple on it, though
I'll update further some hours later, or maybe tomorrow. Most mods after these, are cosmetic, so there's no big change, to be honest

Okay, I'll resume telling about the life of my car xD

Everything was okay, and the car was all colourful and stuff, and there was a trackday going to happen on March. And I thought I'd go to my first trackday ever!
It was going to be a nice experience, the track was on another town, so it would be a road trip, a sleep over, a trackday, really awesome weekend. Also would be taking it to the race track and being safe, enough with crashing my car on random dark hills and stuff.

So there I went, with some OZ wheels (and the Michelin tyres I was using at the time), the car was looking good:
    DSC_0623.JPG

Ran one or two laps sitting as a passenger, as my friend taught me how to drive in that track (and on any track, for that instance)
    _MG_3691.JPG 2537_1060056617391158_3718585419171547596_n. _MG_3712.JPG

And then it was my turn to take the wheel
    _MG_3761.JPG 12928289_1273332722696177_6154931865433216775_n. 12936575_1273332859362830_8809460720712737700_n.

Aaaand after two or maybe three laps, I early appexed into a turn, was too late to correct it and somehow crashed into a pile of white and blue tyres... Game over
    DSC_0624.JPG

The bonnet didn't close, the power steering pulleys were just behind that headlight hole, it was going to rain too... All of this whilst having to travel back from Braga to Porto, where I was sleeping, and then make a stop between the track and my hometown to bring some car parts for a friend. So calling a tow truck wasn't ideal -_-
And I just didn't want to let go of my little car :Frown:
    So I got creative...
    DSC_0625.JPG
    ...
    DSC_0627.JPG

And actually travelled 200 miles like this... ://

    Random bonus pictures:
    DSC_0637.JPG DSC_0626.JPG

And while this wasn't any upgrade or mod, it opened door for the front end makeover that follows... Oh wait,, there was actually a mod in between all of this:
-New Toyo Proxes T1R tyres all around. Stickier and softer than the previous Michelins!
The OZ wheels weren't mine, I was just transporting them from my hometown to the North, where the track was located.

    ------------------------------
*stuff happened here, I didn't have my car for a few weeks*
Shoutout to my mum's car for being there when mine isn't <3
    DSC_1063.JPG

    ...
And then my Civic came back with a fresh face
    DSC_1178.JPG DSC_1508.JPG DSC_1510.JPG DSC_1512.JPG
Yes, I was cheap and only painted the front end :Blushing:

(By this time I'd gotten rid of the purple lug nuts, for example)
Had some amber corner lights temporarily, so a friend of a friend could get his MOT (he needed stock lights for that)
    DSC_1225.JPG

I got some purple details under the bonnet (washers and radiator stay). Though, the radiator stay is black now... I got tired of so much purple, too.
    DSC_1571.JPG DSC_1610.JPG

Not quite shown in any picture, but there's an air duct going from the filter box to the front bumper (to the hole where the fog light would be). This new duct is black, and isn't really noticeable (which was my goal), but if you look closely in the bumper, you might actually see it (the phone camera pictures don't help aswell)

Small but useful detail: US version cupholder
    DSC_1368.JPG

And by summertime there were a lot of little car meets/friend meets, whatever
    DSC_1299.JPG DSC_1300.JPG DSC_1303.JPG
    DSC_1373.JPG DSC_1375.JPG

    DSC_1533.JPG DSC_1532.JPG DSC_1535.JPG
    DSC_1399.JPG

Then I painted my calipers purple, and got a Jap sized numberplate again
    DSC_1616.JPG DSC_1713.JPG DSC_1714.JPG
    DSC_1681.JPG DSC_1649.JPG

Changed the rear discs do Brembos, as the previous ones were "crooked" (don't know the right term in English, tbh), as they were used when I bought the complete disc brake conversion.
    DSCF4410.JPG DSCF4414.JPG
    DSC_1547.JPG DSC_1546.JPG
    DSCF4413.JPG DSCF4407.JPG

Kept going to the hills (but been making no videos lately)
    DSC_1657.JPG DSC_1658.JPG
(no, in Portugal a person isn't automatically a chav just for driving a Corsa  I have decent friends, believe me  )
    DSC_1306.JPG DSC_1305.JPG

And that's all... That's how the Civic sits right now :Smile:Smile:
I'll just make a mod list/progress list for this last post and keep you uptated in the future.

    So, repairs and mods mixed:

    -Painted front end
    -Japanese sized numberplate
    -USDM cupholder
    -Purple bumper washers
-black aluminium radiator stay (still the purple one in the pictures)
    -brake calipers painted purple

    -Airduct from filter box
-NGK Iridium IX spark plugs (just remembered I got them before the roadtrip)
    -Rear Brembo brake discs
-Toyo Proxes T1R tyres all around

She has :Frown: I was really ashamed of crashing it so many times, I'm way more careful now. I still wanna do track days, but maybe I'll leave them for when I have more money to spend on repairs. And maybe more driving experience aswell, so I don't hurt the car as much :/
