Tyres & Wheels Could 16" Honda wheels replace 18" wheels?

    Would honda wheels off a 2002 CR-V of 215/65 R16 size fit a 2014 CR-V currently using 225/60 R18 ??

    I'm no expert in this (I'll leave somebody with the correct facts to help with PCD) - but you're going to see a -5.64 percent difference in diameter - most recommend a max of +/- 2.5 percent so I'm not sure that it would work.

    PCD is the same so will physically fit as Chunkylover53 said those tyres will give a slightly smaller diameter but the standard size for 16 inch wheel is 215/70/16 which would be better.

    They'll physically fit but with a fair difference in overall diameter, your Speedo will be out. On some models this also can affect the software calculations for VSA, ABS and Cruise Control:

    If CR-V is YM13 Code RE5 then VSA software update will certainly be required to ID - 1EG340 as Bulletin SO-05-001-01, otherwise VSA will not work.

    American CR-V use as entry level 16" steel rims with 215/R16 100S, so the 2002 CR-V size is aliitel smaller than required.
