my CR-V cdti 2007 air con has packed up Honda has issued a recall and extended the warranty by a further three years this is a know problem but Honda says that this is for petrol models only not fair not good business not good customer support any one with news or info as to where I can get a good replacement not a Honda part lucas or news of recall

Thread moved to correct forum and prefix. @gary o the I-CTDI was never affected by the warranty extension so its not fair to judge what happened on Petrol car.

As for replacement you ideally want to always use new parts on aircon repairs as any dirty gets into the system it will cause more damage.

The car is coming up to being eight years old, nothing lasts forever.

What part has failed? The control panel?

Glad to hear it, a relay is a far more palatable bill as it goes
