What happend to the original one?

Seeing as youve had the light out. Does the light need to come out to change the bulbs? Id like to put led bulbs in but havnt had chance to look into how they're fitted.

A stone chip let water into the lights causing the lens to go black and the bottom BULB SOCKET to burn the contacts away. I also replaced the wiring loom that carried the rear lights.
Yes to change the bulbs you have to remove the lens, 5 minute job. Remove the small plastic inserts covering the screws and remove these screws. Then gently pull the light cluster out to reveal the harness and bulbs. Some times you may to to give the lens a sharp jab with the side of your HAND if the lens hasn't been off for a while.

Thanks Mike. I need have another look as id like to change the red bulbs for led ones. I've just been distracted with house stuff etc so I never get round to doing it.
