    Greetings.

Is it normal that the Crankshaft pulley is wobbling. while researching the issue on the internet, it looks like it's a thing it should not do.
Have any of you had similar problems or do your Accord do this too.

Have uploaded a video, so you can see the problem.

    Thank you.

That shouldn't be happening IMO. S2000 was only Honda that suffered from what is know is 'Crank walk'.

In your video it goes backwards and forwards as the "Crank Walk"? Mine is wobbling like a bicycle wheel that is not straight . But yeah the best thing to do is probably getting it replaced.

The problem is finding one is hard. Have tried nearly alle parts companies in Denmark and no one has one and cannot get one. I have not tried Honda yet, but is going to.
According to "Lings" it is not available to the my Accord, but is for the Type-R. Do you think that would fit?

Crank pulley shouldn't wobble, if it continues to wobble over a period of time, it will fracture and disintegrate !

When's your timing belt swap next due? Might be worth doing both at once.

The pulleys are in two parts, separated by rubber which acts as a vibration damper. I have seen one recently that had such a wobble it eat into the timing belt casing and very close to the timing belt itself!

Then it must be the rubber part that's getting bad.

Do you know if the the pulley is the same for 2.0(F20B6) and Type-R(H22)?

If that is the case then mine is probably not too good then. I thought this was normal to be honest as mine has done this since I've had the car, it wasn't very clear on your video @Fiskekutteren, but I have recorded one myself and its currently uploading to youtube.

I had a look at mine and its not wobbling, its hard to see properly though as theres so much stuff in the way.

When did you guys have your timing belt changed and from where?

I dunno if they loosen the bolt on these when doing the belt, perhaps they didn't tighten it up back properly? Mine was done like 8-9 years ago at Honda dealer by previous owner.
