Thought I'd start off a post asking what members felt were design icons. Here's my first selection the Pilot Myu fountain pen from 1970s.

For devices, I've always loved Sony's designs, I don't know a single other company which has managed to pull off such a unified product experience line across so many different sectors, except Apple, where Jobs/I've have spoken many times over their inspiration from Sony:

The other one, being Braun of course:

Then Apple themselves, I hate their products, I love their designs.

Victorinox Swiss army knife and watches too

CRT TV was the greatest example of design and technology, a Porsche designed Loewe TV, it looked great switched off and the sound was something else, ok it cost a lot of money but worth every penny. Sorry for the poor picture.

Also my old Panasonic Walkman was something to believe, it was thinner than a cassette case and was just a engineering master class.

:Hooray:This is simple as I live in the Honda bubble so this is very easy.

The ten Honda models that changed the world.
    1) The model "A" (1948) the motor bicycle.
    2) The Dream models "D" & "E" (1949 & 1951)
    3) The model "F" Cub (1952)
    4) SuperCub C100 (1958)
    5) The Dream CB750 sandcast engine (1969)
    6) S500 (1963)
    7) The RA272 (1965)
    8) The N360 (1967) N stands for japanese word Norimono which means vehicle.
    9) The H1300 (1969)
    10) The Civic (1972)

All these ten Honda design icons were made until Soichiro Honda gave up his postion as president of Honda R&D Co.,Ltd in 1971 and then in 1973 he relinquished his postion as president of Honda Motors.
