I did something last night that i havent done in a long time, i took the car out for a run just for the sake of it,at 01:30 !!! The last time i did that was with my last NSX.
My previous taxi was a 59 plate A6 which was a lovely car to be in, but it never inspired me to just jump in and off i go.
It's nice to have a car like that again.

I know the feeling of jumping into my car to escape!!! But I have to admit the days of jumping in for a long random spin are gone with fuel price as they are I have completely stopped one off pleasure drives. On my 7th Generation it was a weekly occurance .

    I still won't buy a diesel ..

Me neither. Life's to short to drive a diesel. I drove an Accord 8th Generation Executive diesel (150 BHP) last weekend. Happy I got back in my petrol car!
I also experience my 2.0 (I know, it's only the 2.0) as a car I want to take for a drive just for the fun of it. Such a nice ride. But petrol prices are indeed too high to do this.
