    Pre facelift or facelift models?

Type-S be prepared to pay over the odds on insurance anything with a sporty badge is expensive. EX all the toy of a Type-S and leather seats with lower insurance premium.

    Hi and welcome.

As CJ says, it depends on you and what you're looking for personally.

The Type-S is the sporty one and the Exec has more luxury and gadgets but not the sporty look.

A Type-S is no more any special to a EX boyo , it is just a striped down version of a EX.. with red dials

you certainly feel special with those don't you.

No they are not the Type-S get different dampers and different spring ratings so give it that sport feel. The part numbers are different , in the Honda detailed technical bible it does suggest the Type-S dampers are more precise than the EX not by a HUGE margin. Infact all 7th Generation Accord have had kaizens along the way ..which manuafcturer does that in one product lifecycle? Honda Does.
