While I don't mind them being on the CR-V as standard, I don't like the fact they "always" have to be on - I'd like to have the choice to de/activate at my leisure and not because of some bureaucratic EU-diktat.

So, short of ragging out the fuse and displaying an error message, is there a way to deactivate/disable the DRLs?

I've seen a few 9th Generation Civics that have their DRLs off - so it clearly can be done......

There will be a connector to the strip of LED's the easiest way is to disconnect it and tape up the ends. I will look it up bud.

There is a fuse under the hood for it as well - probably easier to get to than squirm upside down in the footwell looking for the fuse!
