    Hi everyone,

I picked up my FR-V at the weekend. I'm impressed so far but my air con smells a bit stale. Does anyone know how I can check the pollen filter for any offending gunk and debris?

    Cheers

The Mann Hummel filter website directs to the Civic guide for the FR-V, so they must be similar.

If you have a handbook it usually explains in there also.

A reasonable quality pollen filterbis cheaper on Ebay than at Honda. Might also need to spray some aircon cleaner spray in your vents, again aerosols on Ebay or eurocarparts.

Thanks. I tried the manual but it doesn't explain how to check the filter yourself.

No problem I can dig up the guide however on one proviso you have to do an actual real life DIY thread...agreed?

It's not something you usually just check, you simply replace it once a year.

I know. I'm just not sure if it was done at its last service. I've only had the car a few days and I didn't receive the service sheets.

Here is your guide for a 2007 BE5. Please do the actual DIY with pictures

Honda Genuine pollen filter part number 80292-SCA-E11 item always consult the Honda dealer for the right part as they are minor revisions in the facelift and prefacelift one . This also applies to the diesel fuel filter

Thanks. I'll post some photos when I'm done. The FR-V is a 59 reg by the way. I assume the 2007 guide is still applicable?
