I was changing over to my new speakers tonight and on putting the door back together and checking the window switch, my driver's side auto went all the way down, and stuck there. All other windows work fine.

    Thankfully it's dry tonight!

    Thoughts?

Does it go back up when you remove the new speaker?
Did you securely connect the two adapters together (mine were very stiff to put back when I did mine)?
Can you hear a clicking noise from the motor when you press the up button?

I had to put it all back together as it was dark and I have things to sort out tonight for work, so, no idea about removing new speaker.

I used mdf adapter rings that I bolted onto the chassis

Can't hear anything from the window when I pr3ss the switch.

Just got back from work and stripped the door down again.

Removed switch from door card, took apart and placed back together again, ignition on, window goes up on its own.

I can now hear a clicking noise from inside door, is that the relay?

I've left it stripped down until I get it sorted.

It's odd it coincided with my putting in the speaker, also the fact the other windows are ok.

What would the clicking noise be?

For the MDF rings did you create new holes or use the existing ones left by the factory speakers?

2 of 3 were in existing holes, the last one I put a self tapping screw through, checked behind that and it doesn't appear that I've connected with anything.

Thanks @Chunkylover53, I'm thinking the motor might be the issue as the clicking noise suggests it might be the teeth in the motor slipping on the regulator. Or something.

So, I'm going to take the scientific approach and hit it with a hammer.

My window is still stuck, thankfully up.

I've been reading about it and many suggest resetting the windows.

Does anyone know what this is and how I would go about it?

    Process for an Accord is

    1. Start the engine. Push down and hold the driver’s window switch until the window is fully open.

    2. Pull and hold the driver’s window switch to close the window completely, then hold the switch for a second or two more.

Cheers @SpeedyGee, it doesn't move at all unfortunately. I will try disconnecting the battery

    Fixed it!

The problem was down to me not being careful enough when I removed the door card and associated parts. Some of them require persuasion to come apart and I must have dislodged the internal plastic components that actuate the switch internally.

You need to be careful when putting this switch back together again or this can be the result. Especially if you're heavy handed like me.

You can see the plastic casing and circuit board that needs to sit inside it properly.
