I was looking for an old Ford TV advert from the 90's and came across an interesting youtube channel that has loads of old TV adverts's so I ended up watching a load of old TV adverts from the 90's, lots of childhood memories from this era.

Peugeot 406 advert, one of my favorite adverts ever, and love the classic M people track.

    Full version of the ad:

Toyota Avensis advert, another cool ad with classic track, I used to actually think the Avensis drove on its own!

Nissan Primera, the first ad in this video, with another great 90's lighthouse family track

    Ford escort advert, funny ad

This was the advert I was hunting down:

Oddly enough I barely remember any Honda TV ad's from this era! All I can remember is their old slogan of "First man, then machine". They had those great adverts in the 00's though.

But love how great adverts were back in those days.

If anyone else has any favorites, post em, doesn't have to be car related!

This has come back to me:

Great advert that shows the cars strengths!

very cool. First 406 advert was actually a bit creepy  but the Honda Civic advert.. *sigh* who knew that in 2000s it will lose its double wishbones.. oh how the mighty have fallen

My favorite has to be the Edsel show. An hour long advert for the most beautiful car ever made ! Now its official I'm mad, but I do love that car.
Bing Crosby, old blue eyes Louis Armstrong ( before he was an astronaut ) all to advertise a car which was successful a car as the Titanic was a ship !

A good ad in 1979 for a car that rusted away ... Hand Built by Robots

Not The Nine O'Clock News - Hand Built by Roberts

Volvo 340 ....tested by dummies driven by the intelligent

^ I was going to say Ichiban that advert and slogan really perfectly epitomised Honda back then, they need to go back to that principle of building a car again without compromise and doing things there own way.

Love that Fiat advert, and that Volvo advert reflects how adverts used to represent the characteristics of car brands back then, Volvo nearly always going the "our cars are safe" route, nowadays it seems cars are so saturated and lacking any unique identity.

I love the old tune from the one2one adverts, really nostalgic, how mobile technology has changed so much since then.

I don't remember this ad at all, probably because the Rover 800 600 series were Honda's, and at 55 secs in the video, it's easy to mistake that Accord for a Rover 800 600

Do you mean the 600? as that was the sister model to the 5th Generation, hence the similarities, although the Honda was the sportier looking of the two with the long sleek bodyline.

Are the men in suits meant to represent the money men?

^ ooops, double typo, I'll cross out 800 LOL

no idea what those men are supposed to represent, I only found the ad by typing "built without compromise"

The 150 BHP VTEC outboard motor :surfing: they are bad ass worth a cool 12K without its bolt on bits, the engine is bombproof and very quite.
