    Hi peeps

Happy new year to everyone firstly,

Few questions I have hope someone can help

Service parts... I do the oil changes myself on my car and I always buy the oil and oil filter from Honda but this time I'm looking to change all the filters, Honda are charging way over the odds for a air & pollen filter, would it make any difference if I bought non Honda filters? Oil & fuel filter will be Honda ones don't worry!!

Squeeky clutch....what type of greese would you recommend I try? Discovered on Honda tech if you put greese where the pedal is it stops the squeak!

Bluetooth...its gone dead, no response what's so ever, the HFT still works but the bluetooth doesn't...any idea what it is?

    Thanks in advance

    Ejaz

Happy new year to you,I would suggest stick with original Honda parts try out Holdcroft Honda they are our club affiliate all parts at discount prices as well as free shipping to your doorstep. The difference between genuine and non genuine is huge and price is more or less the same so why bother with imitations.

Search for these post using the search facility.
    • Honda Hand Free Telephone (HFT) User guide
    • How to enter the HFT self-diagnostic function

You will have a better idea what the HFT module is working.

Full service kit ie Air/Pollen/Fuel/Oil Filter plus sump washer from Holdcroft was around £70 I think when I got my last one and free delivery usually next day if ordered early enough.

Can't find Holdcroft on here as I haven't been a member long enough :Frown:

But I picked up the parts from the local Honda garage and got a good discount of them, air/oil/fuel/pollen filter plus washer, engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid & clutch fluid all for £173, not bad me thinks!!

In my Accord and my Civic, those are the same (DOT4 brake fluid). What do you put in the clutch fluid reservoir? I this different from the brake fluid on 7th Generation Accords?
