hi, i have the standard 16" rims presently on the FR-V but fancy an upgrade can i go up to 18" or 17"? anyone got any experience on how alloy upgrade affects MPG and engine wear etc wondering if its a worth while experiment?

    thanks and much love!

How hard did you hit the curb ? May have bent a track rod end.

I too have 18" on and have not noticed any difference other than better handling because of lower profile tyres.
personally I would go for 18's cuz you know you will want to go bigger once you see how much better the car looks with larger wheels.

I would take you up on your kind offer but they currently look fine where they are , ,,,,,, on the top of some shelves in the back of the garage, next to my spoiler. . .. .

I really need to get them put on the car at some point.

LOL bugger, you've just reminded me of the camber arms too :-/. I've fitted my DRL / switchback but not the module as I couldn't get it to work so binned that.

Modding on hold after that as we have a loft conversion and wedding to pay for this year

where abouts did you mount your DRLs ,, got any pics??

all my modding (apart from some more audio) is 9n hold till the winter is over.. . as the winter wheels come off, springs , camber arms and 18s go on... with the rest hopefully to follow

I bought LED switch back indicators, so have fitted them where the indicators go. No pics, sorry. They are led white under normal driving and then turn amber while indicating and then back to white when indicator is off
they come from China but work great but take about 3 weeks to arrive, solaniods etc included to make flash rate correct.
