I've never had a problem with either key thob working until today.

I unlocked the car and put the little monster in his car seat. I then put him up front to play with the steering wheel & other buttons for a bit of fun.

After a few mins we were done. I tyres everything off he touched and tried to lock the car. Nothing!

No thob works (no red led) and the key doesn't lock all doors.

The doors are all shut and I can lock each one manually.

Is there a button he has pressed that I don't know about ?

Won't work if the bonnet is unlatched... Long shot but double check that

While checking the bonnet I noticed the footwell leads are not working.
The interior lights only come on manually.

I'm guessing a fuse has blown. Sadly I only have large ones and will trouble shoot it tomorrow.

Cig lighter and everything else works

    Let's hope it's not a MICU issue.

    Anything else not working ?

    What's MICU?

    Everything else is good.
I'm hoping that he pulled on a led wire (I didn't see but you never know)
    And popped a fuse.
I had the ignition on so he could do the horn & have music on.

MICU = Multiplex Integrated Control Unit

It's a control unit that a few of the systems go through. PITA to replace, so hopefully it's not that.

Are there any spare fuses in the fuse box? I'll take them out one at a time tomorrow and see if ones 'hopefully' blown

Purchased 10 10A fuses today as the back up one had blown.

I don't think the wiring was shorting after installing my LEDs as I like to think I'm better then an expert

I don't know if Cooper flicking the switches on and off blew the fuse but at least I am now back up and running with spares in the box incase it happens again.

Glad to hear it was just a fuse

I thought the FR-V did not have a Multiplex system they have the traditional wiring loom.
