Tyres & Wheels Front Wheel Alignment Check Needed?

My front tyres (Michelin Energy) have worn down to 3mm after 4 years and c. 25k miles so it's time to replace them. The inside edge of both front tyres have about 0.75mm more wear than the outside edge and the nearside front tyre has about 0.5mm extra wear overall compared to the offside front tyre. Rear tyre wear is very even. The car handles fine.

Do you think it would be worth checking the front wheel alignment bearing in mind I've never had it checked?

I'm inclined to replace the Michelin Energy tyres with Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tyres since the Goodyear tyres have a better specification for noise and economy.

It's always worth getting 4 wheel laser alignment done after getting new tyres.

I just had 2 new Michelin Energy tyres fitted & a 4 wheel alignment check - minor adjustments were needed front & rear.

Minor adjustments can make a lot of difference to tyre wear.
