I am going to update this thread with all my fuel consumption records and any related circumstances - I figured it's better off being posted here as opposed to on paper which I'll probably lose.

In general my driving stance is relaxed with quite a bit of coasting on empty straight roads. However when I'm in a hurry or a driver tailgates I have to rev high.

From 12/8 - Somehow my avg MPG from the 95 RON fuel is higher than the 99 RON Tesco Momentum, easily the last time I will use premium Tesco fuel at least. Only difference was the lower temp meaning that the windows were closed more often however I had a lot more heavy loads from the wholesalers etc.

Try running BP ultimate and see if you get a MPG gain that fuel is the only 100% petroleum based fuel ..for now.

You may want to check you timing is you are getting slighly better MPG on lower grade fuel. (There is a DIY how to check timing for the 6th Generation) if you get stuck let me know.

I will give BP Ultimate a go when my student loan comes in, I can just about afford petrol now with these stackable 5p off vouchers from Tesco which is the only reason why I fuel with them.

Also, tried searching for the DIY but I could not find it, do you mind linking it?

28/8 My dad did around 50 miles in my car which attributed to the lower MPG.
