I was wondering is there any sociable AOC members around Bristol or anywhere in South West region? And willing to organise some regional meeting? Or just an Accord owners who lives in Bristol? Any kind of suggestions and thoughts are very welcome!

Thinking about it, why not organise a meet at Castle Coombe. I'd drive over from London, my family come from Chippenham.

Castle Combe would be great, I think! I've never been there yet.

Yes, I see many Accords on the roads here, but none of them are members of AOC perhaps... Or maybe they arent so interested in meeting.

Primarycare, give me a shout if u'll be in Bristol sometime  I'll come over to park my black one next to yours  hehe

Well, for some reasons (I don't know) people on this forum are passive regarding meets.

Intruder is not that I don't want to.I would love to meet up as much as possible but with 3 kids and wife working weekends is just not an option for me.
I am willing to come to any meet anywhere in the country providing time and date has been agreed few weeks in advance so I can ask wife to take a day off that day.

I am not talking about a minority but majority of them are here for a to b transportation mode and get the accord for a stop gap.

I believe we don't need a lot of money to organize great meet. It's all about friendly people & nice cars, we share same interest. I had attended several local Honda meets recently and it's really great spent time with other guys sharing same love to Honda  Even both Japfests I went this summer had amazing atmosphere!

It could be on minimal resource - some fuel in your tank to get your car to the meet, a little cash for a meal with guys & a good mood for a whole day  Of course if our pockets can afford something more, we can then organize more fun, ..go-karting, bowling etc. etc.

Agree with you totally and I will back it and would like to have a meet every three months ... but I have lost all enthusiasm within me to organise any meets due to several attempts to no avail. Take for example free stickers for members there is no longer a requirement nor are the tax disc or the AOC clothing line. I am not having a go but a basic realistic view we don't have the enthusiastic and willing members. I can count these members on my fingers ...

    I live in Newton Abbot.

Q: Don't you have any window stickers then? As I was going to ask about that, don't mind if I have to pay for one.
