Congratulations.....but being a father to a 5 year old girl, bordering on 27 and an attitude that belongs to a diva, I don't know if I mean it....

I would say just give the keys to the wife and let them go wherever and you can put your feet up at home.

Cheers, been thinking about a possible option. The MD leases a Shogun, full size and not the SWB, it's got all the toys and although it's not very refined or fuel efficient it is massive and is a proper 4WD. The lease is up in about a year and a half. I could swap with him as all the cars are on the fleet insurance anyway and leased through the company. It will be a bit more costly on diesel but it's only for a little while.

Then when it's renewal time I can look at either an estate in something or a CR-V.

Would miss the performance of the 330d x-drive though.but I guess that's not so important now.

You aren't thinking straight, must be the new arrival...:hondababy:

    ...just get a roof box.

With a couple of cushions I'm sure it could be quite comfortable!

    Sounds like it's CR-V time.

As a stay at home father of five my two cents, give the keys away whenever possible and walk the dog, maybe get a second dog and walk that one as well.

And congratulations on the new arrival!!

    I wish! Lol

I think the Bavarian Rocket is going to have to go and I'll be back in Japanese. At least I won't have to worry about floods!

Been looking at CR-V lease deals and there are top spec ones at the same price as my current car so that may be an option in the future. To be honest there aren't many places you can safely have fun with the 330d anyway without risking your licence.
