Hi, just made an agreement for second hand Delta wheels + tyres.
550 euro, including: the 4 wheels + 3 very good tyres + 2 not so good tyres. One of these very good tyres is not mounted yet.
All 5 tyres are Yokohama Advan Sport. One rim has a bit of kerb damage.
I will collect them this week. No need to say I will post some pictures once I have them in my garage.
The tyres need a thorough inspection and then I will decide what to do: use what is left of the less good tyres or buy immediately 1 new tyre (if still available in same spec).
Never drove Yokohama before. According to tyre lables they are not good on fuel consumption, quite good on grip in wet and can make some noise .
I will only mount them on my car next spring (March - April) and use the standard 16 inch wheels for winter. Have new 16 inch tyres (Dunlop) since Feb this year. If those are worn, I will replace them with winter tyres. They have 17k km now.
For those who don't know. Delta's look like this:
    08W18_TLO_600A-delta_LRG.

I hope the kerbing in only minor and easily repaired. Looking forward to next spring when we can see them on your Accord.

@Nels : Never had to repair a rim. This one is damaged on the top surface. What's the normal way to repair?

Sorry, I don't know @i-DSI. I've not taken mine to be repaired either. I rubbed down and re-sprayed my Epsilons myself when the lacquer broke down.
I believe some of the other guys have had their alloys re-furbished. Perhaps they can tell us more.

Like @Nels, I did my own alloys. If the damage isnt too bad, try to repair it yourself. It is a very satisfying thing to do I found.

The Deltas have a diamond cut finish don't they? I remember @Zoran has been struggling with how to get his refurbed.

They are diamond cut and not very cheap to repair at all.
Looked around to get them refurbished and found company in Milton Keynes(forgot the name) and it comes to nearly a £100 per corner.

Mine are pretty bad now and lacquer is peeling off on every single one and they don't look very nice.

Will have to put up with it for now but they do need full refurbishment.

@Zoran - Pristine wheels are great - had a friend who had his VXR alloys redone by them. More expensive than most, but they do an amazing job. They also do free carriage and offer replacement wheels whilst yours are being sorted.

Wheel replacement , free carriage and their reputation is what caught my eye and reason I contacted them.

It will have to wait for now, , about to spend lot of money on something else.

    Thanks @Nighthawk

I just collected them! They need a good cleaning. First view (as seen before): only one wheel has some scratches. nothing major. Definitely do not need a remanufacturing process like at Pristine. The other wheels look mint to me. maybe a very small damage due to tyre mounting. After the clean I will post some pictures. Those Delta's look really great. Can not be compared with the standard 16 inches.

At least the damage is only cosmetic - they look gorgeous though, love that design.
