Someone forgot to mention this to this lorry driver.
Somebody climb up and insert a "DON'T" between the words "we" and "fit"
...or just add the word 'badly' to the end of the slogan.
To (mis) quote the words of Bob in Backadder IV,
Bob: "I want to see how car parts are fitted, so badly"
Backadder: "Well, you've come to the right place..."
They couldn't find a 5W bulb in stock for the front position light on my CU1 once so fitting under bridges is definitely beyond them! ;-)
With a bit more practice he could have taken out that Audi TT as well, and left at least one hairdresser in tears...
He forgot the bridge was there as he was distracted by the Jazz and then by laughing at the crap Audi behind it.
I think the Halfords driver was a set up. He was sent down the wrong route by someone... Now who would gain from such a thing?
By 'damaging' the bridge, it gives Network Rail a few extra weeks to complete the track upgrade that they have little hope of finishing on time.
Anyone check if the figure on the low bridge road sign is correct ?
